I do standup comedy. I also produce shows so that other people can do standup comedy.
Often I do it in Helena. Sometimes I do it in Townsend. Other times I do it in Butte or Bozeman or Missoula or Billings.
All of those are cities in Montana.

Big laughs for small towns.
I produce shows off the beaten path, in small-town bars and breweries and theaters
I book competent comics who aren’t famous yet. Sometimes a bigger celebrity joins us but that’s not because I care about celebrities so much as it is that I recognize that it would be silly to say “no” just because someone is famous. I don’t go looking for ’em though.
Typically, the audience doesn’t know who famous people are anyway, and so they’re happy to see live comedy. And frankly there are plenty of comics who don’t have TV credits who are just as funny for an hour as those who do. This strategy means that many comics get to do their first little tour with us up in Montana, which is really special.
